Land and climate

WHY IT'S SO IMPORTANT

We recognise the importance of strengthening resilient livelihoods of people who live in poverty and exclusion especially women and youths and secure climate justice

We focus on building resilience capacity of people and advocate for equal treatment between men and women for fair redistribution of productive resources such as land, farm inputs and access to financial services. We Advocate for increased budget allocation in support of Agro ecological interventions and public financing to agriculture. We also promote Climate Resilient Sustainable Agriculture as means of strengthening food systems and the capacity of smallholder farmers to adopt climate changes

Our major focus:

  • Food sovereignty and agro-ecological adaptation
  • Promoting land rights for enhanced resilience of livelihoods
