WHY IT'S SO IMPORTANT
We understand that social justice, gender equality and ending poverty are achieved by shifting power and redistributing resources.
AATZ supports people to become strong drivers of change to promote democratic governance, access quality basic services and effective management of public resources. We develop the capacity of youth and women so that they are participants and leaders of development at all levels.
Our major focus:
- Progressive taxation for quality gender responsive public services
- Promoting quality, free and gender responsive public education
- Promoting participation of citizens in democratization processes and representation of women and youth in governance systems and structures
